Leather Paper Bag Tote

Another Tohni Bekka bag has been made, this time it's a Tote!

One day I was thinking about the leather scraps I have left over from other handbags that I wanted to use instead of buying another hide of leather. I wanted to be a little bit more creative and see what I could come up with out of the three colors of leather I had. Since color blocking and tri-color handbags are still trending, I knew this is the perfect time to mix three colors of leather.

Next, I had to come up with a design, since I knew what colors I was going to use. Out of no where I thought about a brown paper bag. It's a simple design but the details and the fold lines are the details I wanted to bring out in this bag. The folds created from a paper bag, like the triangle and the crease down the middle on the side of the bag the zig-zag edge along the top of the bag and the triangle design you see at the bottom from the paper being folded that turns a one dimensional piece of paper into a three dimensional bag. These are all of the things I wanted to highlight by using different color leather.

This Tote is fun to carry, lightweight feeling but sturdy and strong enough to carry your iPad, laptop, school books, portfolios and anything else that you tote around with you! I could carry this bag around with me everywhere!
